Can I access the library’s databases from home?

Answer

MU students, faculty, and staff can access the library’s databases and electronic resources from anywhere through the university’s proxy server.  You will just need to enter your pawprint and password when prompted to do so.

MU students, faculty, and staff can also access the library’s databases and electronic resources through setting up a VPN (virtual private network) connection to the University's network. If this interests you, go to anyconnect.missouri.edu and follow the on-screen instructions. After the VPN program is installed, you should be able to access University resources without a problem.

Members of the public can only access the library’s databases while in the library with a guest user account that can be set up at the Checkout and Information Desk.
