Sanborn Maps produced prior to 1923 are in the public domain and are available online through the University of Missouri Digital Library. Maps produced in 1923 and after are still under copyright restriction, and we are not able to make them available online. These maps are available for in-person use only. Special Collections does not make photocopies or scans of Sanborn Maps.
Microfiche of the copyrighted Sanborn Maps are available for interlibrary loan. Contact your local public or university library to arrange for this service. Be advised that the microfiche is black and white, and therefore some of the information conveyed by the color coding is lost.
