Where is the Bloomberg Terminal?
The library's Bloomberg Terminal is located on the main floor of the Journalism Library near the service desk and is available on a first come, first serve basis during hours the Journalism Library is open. (Note: Business students also have access to several Bloomberg Terminals in the Trulaske College of Business via the Cornell Hall Trading Lab.)
Who can use the Bloomberg Terminal?
Through a generous donation, Bloomberg has made a terminal and access to their proprietary data available to the University at no cost in support of Mizzou's educational mission. Access to the terminal is limited to current Mizzou students and personnel.
How do I set up an account?
To use the Bloomberg Terminal, you will need to set up a personal login. Be sure to use your Mizzou email. You will need your cell phone with you to validate your account. Additional information on the process can be found here.

How do I access the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification?
BMC Certification is free for Mizzou students when using a physical Bloomberg Terminal. The self-paced course includes four modules (Economic Indicators, Currencies, Fixed Income, and Equities) and takes 8-10 hours to complete. Once logged in via the terminal, enter BCER and hit the green GO button on the keyboard to pull up the modules. While not required, we recommend starting with the Terminal Basics module.
