Microforms are any materials containing miniaturized images that require magnification to be viewed. The MU Libraries have one of the largest collections of microforms in North America. Microforms in Ellis Library may be available in four different formats:
  • microfilm
  • microfiche
  • microcard
  • microprint
Most microform collections are in publicly accessible rooms, and patrons are welcome to help themselves. Readers and scanners are available in room 404. For a guide on finding microforms, visit http://library.missouri.edu/specialcollections/microforms/
