UMLD is an off-site storage facility for older books, journals and items.  Although you cannot visit UMLD, you can request a book, which can be delivered to any campus library. Generally, it takes a day for the book to travel from UMLD to the library of your choice.

Once you have found a book stored at UMLD in Discover@MU, select the Place Request button, enter your pawprint and password, and choose a library for delivery. If you prefer, someone at any branch library circulation desk can request it for you provided you have your student ID with you.
