To Use This Service

Fill out the request form on the left side of the screen.

In order to use this service, MU requires proof of enrollment in an 8090/9090 individual research course.

  • You may provide this proof by taking a screen shot of the MyZou screen containing both your name and the course number, saving it to your computer or device, and uploading it using the button in the form.
     

OR

  • You may meet with your subject librarian and login to MyZou and pull up your research course at the meeting.

 

If you meet with a librarian, the librarian will assist you with the process.

If you choose to use the service on your own, wait for notification from the library that your proof of enrollment has been received and your name has been put into the system.  View instructions for using the service.

iThenticate

iThenticate for Faculty/Staff Researchers
The MU Campus (including hospital) can now use the iThenticate service. iThenticate is a service used by faculty researchers (or staff who provide support to faculty research) that searches a vast database of collected papers for comparison purposes. The Research Division initiated the use of this service to help prevent cases of research misconduct (plagiarism, fraud, etc.). The current licensing does not include students, unless they are submitting as part of a faculty research team.
