You can request a book through the MERLIN catalog by searching for the book in MERLIN to locate it. If the location says "MU" it is on campus and you can go to the designated library to pick it up. If the location is MST, UMKC, or UMSL, select the "REQUEST" button, enter your pawprint and password, and set the pickup location (Ellis Circulation, MU Engineering, etc). You will be notified by email once the book has arrived.
There are many other ways to request a book if it is not in the MERLIN Catalog. You can request though MOBIUS (a partnership of libraries throughout Missouri), from the offsite depositories, and through Interlibrary Loan from libraries around the country. For instructions on how to request books through these options, please review any of the following options: MOBIUS, UM Libraries Depositories, and Interlibrary Loan (ILL@MU).
