The Health Sciences library does have restricted access starting on the Sunday one week prior to Exam Week and extending through Exam Week.  During the Restricted Access period, evening access is restricted from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Any restricted hours will show up on our hours webpage. This hours for this year are as follows:

  • Sept. 20 – Oct. 1, 2015
  • Nov. 29 – Dec. 10, 2015
  • Feb. 21 – Mar. 3, 2016
  • May 1 – May 12, 2016

We allow the following patrons into the Health Sciences Library during the restricted hours:

MU Faculty and Staff, students in Medicine, Nursing, UMKC Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine and Health Related Professions including:

Cardiopulmonary & Diagnostic Sciences

  • Cinical Lab Science
  • Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Radiological Science
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Communication Science and Disorders
  • Health PsychologyHealth Sciences

Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science

Physical Therapy

Disability Policy and Studies

 Health Management and Informatics

  • Health Informatics
  • Health Ethics
  • Health Administration

Informatics Ph.D program

Biomedical Sciences

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) students

 

Students must be enrolled in one of the schools listed above and must present a valid MU ID card to enter. Please show a Hospital ID or your TigerCard ID to enter. If your ID does not identify you as a member of a health related program, your TigerCard ID will be checked at the Circulation Desk.

Social Work
